According to Dr. Vivek Murthy, loneliness is as bad as smoking 15 cigarettes a day. At the same time, this is the reason for the danger related to obesity and physical inactivity. At present, loneliness is making the elderly as well as the youth its prey.

Let us tell you that due to loneliness there is a risk of developing dementia. The risk increases by 50% and the risk of coronary artery disease or stroke by 30%. At the same time it is reducing the lifespan of the youth. According to statistics, 5% to 15% of teenagers are alone. In Africa, 12.7% of teenagers experience loneliness, while in Europe this rate is 5.3%.
