Ramayan Katha Full Story

Ramayana is one of the Hindu mythology and is said to be the oldest and revered poetry. It tells the story of the life of Prince Rama, his wife Sita and his faithful companion Hanuman. This story is considered to be the best poetry of Maharishi Valmiki and it is divided into seven parts, which are called 'Kanda'. Here is a brief summary of Ramayana: Balkand (Childhood Story): The story begins with the birth of the warrior prince Rama to King Dasharatha. Rama's marriage, his going into exile with his three brothers, and Rama's exile at the behest of Queen Kaikeyi are described in this story. Ayodhya Kand (Story of Ayodhya): The story of Dasharatha's death, Bharat's refusal to accept the throne, and Rama's return after exile. Sita and Lakshmana accompany Rama into exile, where they face various trials. Aranyakaand (story of the forest): The story moves towards the life of Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana in the forest. Ravana, the demon king of Lanka, becomes jealous of Sita and plans to kidnap her. Sage Agastya and the golden deer are also mentioned in this episode. Kishkindha Kanda (The Story of Kishkindha): Hanuman, the loyal disciple of Lord Rama, plays an important role in this Kanda. He along with Ram and Lakshman helped them search for Sita and found out her location in Lanka. This episode also describes the friendship and partnership between Ram and the monkey king Sugriva. Sunderkand (Story of Beauty): Hanuman's journey to Lanka, his meeting with Sita and his excitement in Lanka are described in this Kand. Hanuman returns with Rama's plea and delivers Sita's message. Yudhkanda (war story): This part ends with the building of a bridge to Lanka and the battle between Rama's army and Ravana's army. Rama, with the help of Hanuman, defeats Ravana, rescues Sita, and returns to Ayodhya. Uttarkand (Story of the North): This Kand deals with Rama's return to his kingdom in Ayodhya, Sita's agni-pariksha (test in fire), and her return to earth. This episode also marks the birth of Ram's sons, Luv and Kush. Ramayana is not just a story of bravery and religion, but it is also indicative of the moral and religious Sikhs. It is revered by millions of people and is considered a guiding light in Hindu philosophy.
